Informació

In a context marked by the acceleration of digital transformation, a structural disconnect persists between the physical spaces where our daily activities take place and the digital ecosystem with which we interact. Despite advances in connectivity, artificial intelligence, IoT sensing, and distributed digital services, digital content, functionality, and relationships remain fragmented, generic, and disconnected from the user’s physical context. This disassociation between place and digital service creates operational inefficiencies, limits personalization, and hinders seamless access to relevant features based on the user’s location.
Placenet will transform digital interaction through a disruptive platform that integrates identity, physical context, and advanced privacy, based on identity certification and geographic presence verification technologies, to create a new intelligent channel for personalized, contextualized, and secure connection, capable of delivering services, features, content, connections, and digital communications dynamically adapted to the user and their location.

Activitats

They are developing a public, open, and interoperable digital infrastructure that allows places to be defined universally and activates digital services based on the user’s presence and context in large public infrastructures, ensuring quantifiable levels of trust, traceability, privacy, and scalability.

This infrastructure will allow public administrations, infrastructure operators, logistics operators, and service providers to publish, manage, and operate contextual digital layers in mobility infrastructures and complex spaces, securely defining who can access each service and under what conditions, and enabling a new generation of interoperable, efficient, and territory-oriented public and private services.
