MWSE – Microwave Sensors and Electronics is an engineering company that develops microwave senors for Earth observation and custom made radio-frequency electronics. MWSE developed the payload radio frequency front-end of the FSSCat mission which combined a GNSS-Reflectometer and a L-band radiometer. The Company was also awarded with the development of the European Commission GASPER – Galileo Space Receiver in-orbit demonstrator within a consortium lead by Deimos Space.
Activities
MWSE develops:
- Payloads for micro and nano-satellites (RF Front-Ends, GNSS-Reflectometers and microwave radiometers).
- L-band radiometers, for soil moisture, vegetation water content, and thin sea ice thickness measurement.
- Ground-Based Synthetic Aperture radars, for slope stability and structures monitoring.
- GNSS-Reflectometers for soil moisture and local altimetry measurements.
