Their expertise includes the design and development of data processing pipelines, typically for large scientific projects and Space missions, including tailored algorithms and software.

They provide their own data compression technology, FAPEC, offering excellent performance and versatility in nanosatellites and in demanding ground-based or maritime environments.

DAPCOM was founded in 2013 by researchers from the University of Barcelona (UB) and the Technical University of Catalonia (UPC) working together on the Gaia space astrometry mission of the European Space Agency (ESA).

DAPCOM is an Alumnus of the ESA Business Incubation Centre (BIC) of Barcelona.
