SomInternet is a telecommunications operator in Terres de l’Ebre that works to reduce the digital gap in connectivity in the territory. It does this with a social vision through the legal form of association in order to feel part of the project and treat users as partners and not just as customers. They offer internet connections in their own and third-party networks in radio link, fiber optics and 4G/5G. They also offer mobile and fixed IP telephony. In addition to connecting people, they now connect to “things”, through their own Internet of Things (IoT) network in order to provide intelligence to the populations of their rural territory.
