RecySmart is an IoT device adaptable to almost any urban waste container, capable of interacting with citizens and providing new motivations to recycle based on attractive incentives, transforming regular containers into smart ones. It can be installed on three different selective waste fractions: organic, light packaging, and glass.

RecySmart for light packaging and glass fractions is a unique patented technology in Europe with the ability to identify multiple packaging waste types (glass, plastic, metal, and cardboard) recycled by citizens thanks to its innovative sensor combined with real-time Artificial Intelligence algorithms.

RecySmart for the organic fraction allows monitoring of the waste bags recycled by citizens through the attachment of a QR code or RFID tag.

Both solutions can be equipped with a volumetric sensor to measure fill levels. The technology increases recovery rates up to 80-90% by fully digitizing the waste cycle and providing real-time analytical data to municipalities.
